The 1998  Senior Championship was won by  Michael Carberry who scored maximum points in three out of  four categories.

The 1998 Junior Championship was  won by Billy Milligan who finished second to Michael Carberry in three out of the four classes.

OFF ROAD 4wd:  losi XX4 with a trinity D2 11 double motor , M'Tronics Pro Digi  speed controller and Orion/Trinity cells
